When i was a little i used to see "THE OTHERS" but when i started drinking and partying, i can't see them anymore but sometimes i can feel them.

I believe "SPIRITS" are harmless, they just don't know they are dead, so sometimes maybe they're talking to us and we can see/hear them, so maybe they got mad and use some energy/power to let us see them, and get scared/run away etc, etc, etc. I just don't think they kill. xD
