The Doom Doll

Maya is very happy that she's going to celebrate her 10 years old birthday. This time she'll celebrate her bithday at her home with her parent and her very best friend; Cecelia. She even hope that she'll received many wonderful gifts from her friends and her parents too... Everything was ready and well prepared so she is now waiting for her friends to come. She can't wait to start her birthday party as she had already imagined it the whole situation. Finally, her friends and including her bestfriend, Cecelia has arrived and soon after that, they started the party. After they had sang birthday song to Maya, she make a wish and blow the candle. Maya's exciting moment has come which is she's going to open all the presents her friends and her parent has gived her. She has completely opening all the presents until the very last two presents which her parent and Cecelia has given her and with her very happy face, she opened it up. To her surprised and excitement, she was so delighted when she get a dress she had always wanted for all this time. She smiled happily and ran to her parent for a hug. Then it was her bestfriend, Cecelia present time. Cecelia handed the present to her and Maya smiled at her and quickly open it. Another surprise strike Maya again as she saw the most beautiful girl doll and she lift it up and look so much carefully at the doll. The doll was indeed very beautiful with her long silky black hair, exactly like a human hair and a pair of red cheeks and very beautiful smile with dimple on it. The doll even wear a red dress with laces on the bottom of the dress which make the doll look so elegant and cute. She look at Cecelia and told her that it was the most beautiful doll she ever have.

"Cecelia, where did you bought this doll? It was so beautiful and I love it very much, thank you very much" Maya hug Cecelia.

"You're certainly welcome and I'm glad you like the doll very much. Actually I bought the doll from one of the antique shop. It was very old antique shop but inside, all the things are very tidy and neat and displayed well. I was shopping with my mother and exactly at the moment I saw the doll and asked my mother to buy it for your coming birthday. Maybe it was quite old stuff but it still looks brand new and I found it to be cheaper from the other dolls too."

Maya pick the doll up and she said to Cecelia that she'll take good care of the doll and even name the doll by the name Angelica. So, the party went on with lots of lots of laughter and cheerfully until finally the party was ended. Cecelia was the last to go home when her mother came to pick her up. After saying goodbye, Maya's mother told her to take a bath so she went up to her room. She then put her new dress in her cupboard and Angelica on the bed. After a nice bath, she came out and suddenly saw Angelica was lying on the floor. She thought maybe it was her that she didn't put Angelica in the right place so she had fell. She quickly pick her up and play with Angelica. She even talk to Angelica that she will take good care of her and smile at Angelica. When Maya was quite tired after playing with Angelica and almost dozing off, she put her on the side of her bed and has doze off.

The next morning, when she wake to prepare herself to go to school, she saw Angelica was not her bedside but on her dressing chair. She was curious and she is very sure that she placed her next to her bedside. Shen then ask her mother whether if she's the one who placed Angelica to the dressing chair but her mother says it was not her and she didn't even enter her room yet nor trying to moved her doll. Without thinking much, Maya just ignored it and went to school.

Maya just came back from school and kiss her mother a while and went up straight to her room. When she open the door, suddenly Maya scream and her mother was shock and quickly went up to see what was happening. To her surprise, she saw her daughter's room was in a mess and all Maya clothes was thrown out from the cupboard. Maya was frustrated when she see everything was in a big mess. The only thing that still stay the same is her doll; Angelica. She's still sitting on the dressing chair. Thanks to the big mess, Maya and her mother spend their time to clean up the room until her mother let out a scream that she forgot to cook for dinner. Maya then tidy up her bed and she took a glance at Angelica. She was somehow feeling angry, curious and scared. It had never happened like this before. Then suddenly, she hear a giggling from behind. So, Maya quickly turn around and investigate the sound whereabout and to her shock, it was came from Angelica. Maya doesn't want to think much about it and ran downstair. After that weird incident occured, strange things has happened. The tv was turn on every middle of the night. When Maya's parent came down to check and about to turn off the tv, Maya's mother was shock when she saw Angelica was on the sofa. She turn off the tv and take the doll to Maya's room. Her parent thought it was Maya the one who had forgotten to turn off and left her doll there. They place Angelica next to Maya and they went back to her room. Around 3:30AM, Maya was suddenly wake up and let out screams and cry uncontrollably. Her mother quickly went to her room and hug her daughter. She then ask her was bothering her and Maya says someone was sitting on her body and makes her hard to breath. She even says she saw Angelica came to live and was jumping around on her bed. Until she let our her scream, then Angelica was drop to the floor. Her mother try to comfort her and put her to sleep again.

On the next morning, Maya's mother had told her husband about what was happening last night and she even told that she's very suspicious about the doll since Maya had own the doll and strange things started to happened especially to Maya so finally they decided to bring the doll to the antique shop where Cecelia had bought it in the first place. Once they reach the shop, they look for the shop owner and saw him cleaning the shelves. Without hesitanly, Maya's mother ask the shop owner about the whereabout of the doll. The shop owner said that he didn't even know that this doll was sell in the shop but he remembered that there's one little girl and her mother had bought the doll. But he didn't recalled that he ever stock this doll before so he simply created a price for them. He even very sure that he did not stock the doll eventhough he sells antique items. What Maya's parent do is just keep blank and feeling dissapointed. So their last hope is to the medium.

When they reach to the medium's house, they quickly give the doll to the medium and told him about all the incidents. Then the medium told them to not worry and let him settled the problem. They look at the medium holding the doll and mumbling on it. Suddenly, everything was shaken and they saw the doll on the medium's hand was shaking violently. The medium was grabbing the doll tightly and Maya's parent was shock to hear scream and cry from the doll. They even hear the doll speaking "Let me go!! Let me go!!" "You can't kill me easily!!" "I'm the strongest!!" "I want to kill the little girl" "I want her body". All these words was speaks by the doll and they are feared that what is the thing that's going to kill their daughter and they just run to the corner, hugging each other and prayed. it was a violent atmosphere that the medium was also seen to be flung to the other side but finally the medium managed to grab the doll and chanting more loudly until the doll's head had came off from it's body. Maya's parent even can see there was a big black mist floating in the air and the medium quickly using the dog's blood to vanished the mist. Finally, they can hear the mist had formed a frigthening face mourning and speaking in the pain "This is not over!!" "I will haunt you back!!".

Then the black mist has dissapeared. Everything was end up so messy that the medium can't stand up steadily after the big fought with the ghost. The medium then told them to sit down and he told them everything. The medium said that there was a spirit trapped in the doll's body and she can't rest in peace. The medium even saw the vision of the dead little girl whom had been bullied and she ran to the roof top to keep away from the bullies. But when she was about to came down, she accidently slipped and fall to her death. When she died, she was bringing the doll along too. The doll was the one Maya had. So, she has been searching and waiting for the right time for revenge and even tempt to take over someone's body. So, the dead girl has chose Maya. Thank god that the dead girl did not harming her entire family yet. After they thank the medium and are about to leave, the medium give them a 'Pu' (A yellow paper written in Chinese words with red color ink) each for them and their daughter to keep away evil things on them.

When they reach home, Maya quickly hug her parent and even ask them where is her doll; Angelica went. They have no choice but to say that the doll's arm has broken and they promised her will buy her a new doll. To their surprise, she didn't playing tantrum with them instead she even said okay. They had promised each other not to tell their daughter about what had happened to the doll.
