The Mini Party

This story that I want to share is about me and how I had experience in bumping to something that I don't expected to do in the future. Do I believe in superstitious? Do I believe in anything that I've seen in this world? Well, this is my story.

I've used to watched many horror and thrilling movies with my family when I was a little kid. Movies like The Exorcist(1973), Poltergeist(1982), Nang Nak(1999) and so on. And it has becomes my hobby in watching horror films. However, every films that I watched so far, is not that scary. Sometimes, I thought to myself, would I rather believe in superstitious? And sometimes, I laughed after watching a movie and praising the directors who directed the films. My mom thought I was crazy. My parents always advice me not to watch many scary films, they said I rather be doing something that is worth my time than sitting on the sofa watching a movie.

This is how it begins, my friend just called me on the phone that he and his friends invited me for a mini party. It was night, as I can remember, he called me within 10.30 to 11pm. My family had already asleep except for me staying all night watching a Pontianak movie. My friend were eager to see me at his mini party and they will wait for me if I came late. So I said yes and I'm off to go to my friend's party. He told me the venue where the mini party is. After I switched off the television, I quietly sneak out of my house without telling my parents where I'm off to.

It was already 11pm something, I was on my way to the venue. I noticed something was strange when I'm walk. It feels like my leg is slightly numb but I was able to walk properly. Soon, when I reached the venue where my friend's mini party was going on, they were chit-chatting. One of my friend noticed me coming through them and he shouted, Hey! It's Eiffel!. So they came to me with a brotherhood sign. To my surprised, my friend also invited some of his girl-friends to the party, including ex too. I asked them for how long did they having these mini party. My friend laughed and he said that he haven't started yet because they were waiting for me to arrive. I asked my friend again, that why didn't he prepare anything for his mini party, theres no food, snacks or drinks at all. He explains, the party is not just any party that he organised before and he jokingly laughed. He said it is 'special' and they need me to be the guest of honour. It was strange and I laughed. I wondered why he said that I was the guest of honour in his mini party. I've seen nothing special when I'm arrived for the party.

Suddenly, my friend shown me a stange looking board. "What's that?", I asked. My friend explained that they all, including me will be playing the Ouija Board. I do not know what is that means, he said it's a board to comunicate with spirits that surround them. I thought it was kinda cool, and I wanted to try it on. Everyone gathered and they felt impatient to play the Ouija Board game. First, my friend asked for a coin. I searched my pocket and I did not bring anything along with me, not even my wallet or any of my belongings. Luckily, my ex passing the coin to my friend. I looked at her and she looked at me anxiously. Maybe she thought of our past relationship or whatever thing that I doesn't matters me, anyways. So my friend begin to place the coin onto the Ouija Board. Suddenly, I felt eery. "Guys, place your hands onto the coin please...", my friend said. The whole of us placed our hands onto the coin at the same time. I felt their hands were abit cold. Are they scared? Did they fear of something. I didn't say anything but placing my right hand to the coin. Except for my friend, "Hey, you not placing your hand?", I asked. He shook his head and said that he is the Questioner. A strong wind blew passingly to us. These gives me chills and more eery. My friend begin to quention, first he asked "Are you here?". Suddenly, I felt my right hand and my friend's hand was moving. I whispered to them, "Hey, your hand is moving?". The other person said no to me. "Shhh!! Quiet!~", my friend said. Our hands were moving towards the letters on the board. I readed that our hands were moving towards the Yes. Which means the spirit was there to join the Ouija board game with us. At first I do not believe it, I just tell myself that this is just a game and my friend were just pranking us all. But when I looked at them, they were so anxious including my friend who organised this mini party. "Are you alone?", my friend questioned the spirit. Our hands were moving again, but this time, our hands were moving towards the No. My friend asked again, "How many of you are here?". This time, it was getting creepy, our hands moved to the digit number on the Ouija Board. And it shows the number 5. Which means, there were 5 spirits that joining the Ouija board game with us. The person beside me stood up. He couldn't take it anymore and he wanted to leave the place. My friend scolded him to sit down and place his hand to the coin. He was stubborn and he leaves quickly without saying goodbye to us. I begin to felt scared and I asked my friend to end the game. "Not now, this is the last question.", he said. "Are you going to haunt us?..." I begin to felt scared, I felt the hands of my friends were trembling and cold. But our hands didn't move. What does this means? The spirits are gone? They already leave us?

A minute later, our hands were remained the same place onto the Ouija Board. My friend asked again but our hands didn't move. My friend begin to frustrated after the unpleasant thing happened to our friend. But I felt relieved. I felt a sudden tired and I asked my friend that I'm leaving the party. They all looked pale. My friend shook his head and say that he'll call me if there's another party he want to organise. I told to make sure is a safety one. And he laughed jokingly. Seems he's in a good mood for now.

Its time for me to head back. But somehow... when I'm walking through the pavement, something was following me. I heard footsteps. I turned behind and see it's nothing. So I walked through the pavement wear I arrived at my flat. Suddenly, I saw someone was lying on the ground bleeding. I went to that person and see it was the person at the mini party. He looked unconsiously injured. I wanted to call the ambulance, but forgotten to bring my phone. I did not know what to do. To my surprised, there's a lady behind me. I yelled to her for calling the ambulance. She stands quietly and didn't move. I yelled again. But she still didn't move and do nothing but just standing?! I felt angry and I walked crossly to the lady. "I said call the ambulance! My friend is injured! Can't you see?!", I shouted at her. But then her hand moves and she strangled me. I was choked to shout help. I tried my hardest to pulled her hands but she was so strong that I couldn't stop her for strangling me to death. I couldn't breathe. All I can see that the lady is smile scarily to me. I couldn't take it anymore and my will to stop her had weakens me and soon I felt a deep blurry. And I didn't know what happened after that.

I heard someone calls my name. That person calls my name many times, and I opened my eyes and woke up. I saw my parents were beside me. I find out that I was lying on the hospital bed. And I felt my neck was wrapped up with a bandage. And I felt painful on my neck. I asked my mom who took me to the hospital and how was my friend? My mom said a neighbour just witness the incident and she called the ambulance. Luckily I was alive. But when I asked about my friend who was injured, my mom said it is unfortunately for him. He was in a coma.

Soon my friends visited me in the hospital. I was hospitalize for a week until my neck and leg injuries are recovered. I still have to go for check-ups in the hospital while visiting my friend who was still in a coma. Somehow, I felt traumatised after what just happened to me. The Ouija Board, the spirits were like haunting me every single day. But now I'm okay since my friends and my family are there to support me. I just want to tell the readers out there, not to do anything superstitious that will harm to your life. Thank You.
