I still recall that it was Sept. 24, 2009 at Thursday when I began feeling something weird. When I went to our school comfort room, I spit on the sink and when I raise my head up and look in the mirror, I saw someone entering a cubicle. He said "Give me the tissue". I gave him tissue, but when I was trying to reach him, he was not even there and when I look back to exit the room I saw his scary, decomposed, eyeless rotten face and he said "FLOOD!!!". I panic and after school hours I went to the chapel near us and pray. The weird thing is, when I try to dip some holy water, I don't feel good.
The next day at Friday, I watch two disaster films, namely, The Flood and The Day After Tomorrow. Before I go to bed, I saw the ghost again. He is not scary at all but smiling and says good luck.
The next day, Sept. 26, 2009, it began to rain as typhoon Ondoy batters the Philippines, and I was stuck at SM City Santa Mesa, a mall here in Metro Manila. The flood devastates the lower ground floor of the mall, including the grocery store, appliance center and the food court. My mom called from my cellphone and says that our house was also flooded from waist high to neck high. By Sept. 27, I returned home and saw the devastation brought to us by the storm. Even the university where I was schooling was devastated by the flood and I overheard a conversation that a couple died in their car because the large light post fell on their car and they were stuck until they drowned. Even the business district Makati was devastated.
Now I know that the ghost aren't scaring us. They are helping us. Sometimes they are the one who needs help but we just don't "appreciate" the way how they express it. I bet they even got feelings.
