Sinai House

On Halloween 2011 me and my mate Ash decide to go on a ghost walk around Sinai House Staffordshire. It is well known to have over 163 ghosts including Isabella the pregnant maid the monk her murdered her the abbot and his dogs and loads more.

My Mum drove us down and as we got on to the lane that leads to it we started tk get the feeling we were being watched. My Mum dropped us off and we met up with some more people on the ghost walk and Chris was taking us round talking about the history of the house and the killer monk and the tunnel dug by monks that leads from Sinai to Burton Abbey which is over 3 miles long as we were standing around this tree where rhe tunnel started in the distance i could see 4 red dots and in intrigued me for a while until Chris mentioned the Abbey dogs.

As we got nearer the house i could feel a presence in a window looking right at us i started to get cold then chris told us it was Isabella. Chris then led us into the cellar of Sinai where most activity happens and where me and Ash were standing there was a well where the mothers used to chuck their unwanted babys and he said when down here water would appear through the floor and theres sounds of crying that didnt bother me what did is the fact that i got told the murderous monk was following me all night but before i got told i felt a tug on my back it didnt bother me at 1st until i spoke to Chris and he said it was the monk who likes to play.

As we left to go outside i randomly took a pic of the house upstairs window and when i got back i could see 3-4 faces looking out of it yet when i took the pic nowt was there then my mum came to pick me up and as she was waiting the radio turned on and said helen(mums name) but it was off then her interior light came on unexpectedly Ive always wanted to see/ hear a ghost but never experienced one until that night and ever since then i am more of a believer.
